Professor of Anatomy at Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Chittoor

Dr. Velichety is an esteemed educator with over 43 years of experience in medical teaching and research, specializing in anatomy. She holds an MBBS and an M.S. in Anatomy from S.V. University, Tirupati. Dr. Velichety has held various significant academic and administrative roles, including Head of Department and Vice-Principal at S.V. Medical College, and Controller of Examinations at SVIMS University.

A dedicated academic leader, she has been integral in developing medical education programs and has been involved in numerous committees focusing on medical education and faculty selection. Dr. Velichety has significantly contributed to medical literature with over 70 international publications.

Her contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Government of Andhra Pradesh Meritorious Teacher award. She has also been instrumental in implementing innovative examination systems which garnered the Excellence Award at the World Educational Summit.

Dr. Velichety is the President of the Andhra Pradesh State Anatomists Association and a life member of several prominent medical and anatomical societies.
