Message from the president


It's my great pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you through Society of Nepalese Anatomists (SONA). I am proud to announce that SONA is astoundingly continuing to grow in membership and influence, with an increasing number of passionate individuals. As the premier professional organization in Nepal dedicated to anatomy, which aims to provide a platform for anatomists to share our expertise, enhance our skills, and network with fellow professionals.

SONA will be actively organizing workshops, seminars and conferences to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of the latest advancements in anatomical research. These events have not only enriched our understanding of anatomy but have also inspired new avenues of exploration and collaboration among members.

Furthermore, SONA will be working closely with educational institutions and regulatory bodies to ensure that anatomy remains an integral part of medical and allied health curricula. We will have advocating for the maintenance of high standards in anatomy education and promoting innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience for students.

As we move forward, I encourage each member of SONA to actively participate in the society's activities and contribute your unique perspectives to shape the future of anatomy in Nepal. Together, we will continue to elevate the standards of anatomical education and research, thereby making significant contributions to healthcare and medical science.
